I'm looking at making a build with the Ninja core-class from CV, possibly splashing a couple of lvls of Rogue for evasion, and looking for an easy to get into PrC that has hide in plain site.
Looking for a build, we start at lvl 5, going to about 15, are there any good builds around that just center around sneak in, bypass the traps, backstab the enemy, sneak out?

Wow, that was incoherent, I hope you get what I mean.

While I make no claims as to the actual optimization of it, a Ninja X/Shadowdancer 2 will have all the sneaky skills you could want, plus Hide in Plain Sight, Evasion, Darkvision, and Uncanny Dodge. You'll need Dodge, Mobility, and Combat Reflexes, plus 5 CC ranks in Perform (Dance), but get that and you'll have everything you want.

I looked at shadowdancer, but having to burn three feats that I had no intention of taking sounded rather sour to me.
I know there are other PrC that give hide in plain sight, dont suppose anyone knows what they are/what books they are in?

I really like the Cabinet Trickster class from Races of Eberron. You have to be a Changeling, and it eventually gives you the ability to detect thoughts and stun your opponent at will, as well as assume any humanoid shape. It's like the class was tailored for assassinations. You sneak in under a your assumed form, read the thoughts of everyone in the room, mind stun your target (works like a monk stun, takes away his dex bonus to AC) and stab him in the back.

Lead in with Rogue3/Ninja3, and round out the build later on with any of the following: Mindspy, Invisible Blade, Warshaper, Assassin, or just more rogue or ninja.

If you are a Ninja the fact that you have Invisibility, and Etherealness kind of makes hide in plain sight well,... silly.

Ninja Rangers will be my choice for a more melee approach to combat, namely you don't lose anything in terms of stealth and infact only gain more benefits as now your ninja abilities can relax while in natural surroundings because of your uber ranger skills. Access to Ranger scrolls and wands means you now have a magic source to furthere your ninjaesque type life style.

Ninja Psychic Warror for a greater dependency on powers and so on, take elocator later on to add a few nice abilities while bringing your stealth skills back up to par.
