This is kinda what i have so far but not really sure what to add or subtract from it, trying to make a Character who is master with a sword and yet as best as he can be with support magic, here i have used both variant classes from Dragon Magazine:

Domains: Courage and Healing

Kensai 1 (FTR variant)- Greatsword Mastery +1 +1 BAB: 1
- Lvl 1 Feat Weapon focus (Greatsword)
-Human Bonus Feat?

Kensai 1/Evangelist 1 (CLR Variant) 1st level divine spells

Kensai 1/Evangelist 2: BAB:2

Kensai 1/Evangelist 2: BAB:3 Bonus Feat

Kensai 1/Evangelist 3: BAB:4

Kensai 2/Evangelist 3: BAB:5 (Rain of Blows?)

Kensai 2/Evangelist 4: BAB:5 2nd level divine spells

I would eventually like to get Storm of blows and maybe an extra bonus to the Greatsword at lvl 5, however i would like to consider my options to optimize a Character using prestige classes on this theme- thus keeping with both The Kensai and Evangelist classes.

Any ideas ^__^?

It's in one of the Dragons i am afraid i do not know the number though however it was one of the early 3.5 ones. They had many variants to the Fighter class- Such as a fencer one and a bodyguard one.

I bet we'll see all that stuff in UA.

I don't have Dragon magazine, but it looks basically like a fighter/cleric build to me.

Hospitaler and Fist of Raziel are both awesome classes to keep strong combat ability and spellcasting. You have to be lawful and lawful good, respectively.
