The Kobold domain in the recent Races of the Dragon web enhancement gives trapfinding, search and disable device as its domain abilities. I could see some potential in a multiple threat build (skillmonkey/healer/warrior).

The enhancment also continues the stealth fix of the sorcerer. The Greater Draconic Rite of Passage is a sneaky way to de-retard the sorcerers spell progression.

The problem is the lack of any good way to get decent skill points for a Cleric-based spellcaster that allows him to worship Kurtulmak, the only known deity to grant the Kobold domain.

Cloistered Cleric? Contemplative?

Did you notice how they didn't explicity call it Trap Finding...you just get the ability of trapfinding essentially but, without the name...kinda corny if you ask me.

Cloistered Cleric? Contemplative? Please don't say a Human with Able Learner can take Contemplative to take the Kobold domain.

-=TD=-The same way that Kami's Grace does exactly the same thing that Divine Grace does?

Cloistered Cleric actually seems like something a Kobold would be more apt to use instead of the base Cleric class. They are already physically pathetic, so increasing their skills, knowledge, and spellcasting abilities at the cost of physical prowess would be playing to their strengths, no?

With a 14 Intelligence, thats 6 skill points per level. That gives Disable Device, Hide (which they can pick up from Trickery), Diplomacy, Knowledge (Religion), Craft (Trapmaking), and Knowledge (Dungeoneering). Definately not a primary skillmonkey, but far from useless.
