Any way to get ranks higher than max class. [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-23-05, 07:56 PM I am looking for a way to get 9 /ranks/ in knowledge religion as quick as possiable. Can any of you help me with this? I have several feats I can put into getting it. Thanks!

11-23-05, 08:15 PM 6 levels in a class or combination of classes that have that as a class skill would be the easiest way. as far as i know, there is no way to acquire base skill ranks higher than Character Level + 3

11-23-05, 08:42 PM There's an artifact that grants 10 ranks in a skill, however it's a major artifact and will not be aquired before level 6.

Other than that and a few similar artifacts, there is no way to bypass the maximum number of skill ranks a character has.

11-23-05, 08:46 PM Ok thanks. I am trying to come up with the best healer I can. I'm taking augment healing. My GM said no to DM Persistant. But I have figured out a way to have 6 feats at 4th level.

11-23-05, 09:15 PM The Codex Anathema will bust up some skills beyond the normal max, but not K (r). It is, however, a great way to qualify very early for Exemplar.

11-24-05, 08:01 AM In Eberron, when a Riedran host is possessd by it's Tsucora Quori spirit, the spirit and hosts' ranks get added together.
