Anyone have Karmic Strike build?? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I was wondering if anyone has a link to a good Karmic Strike build. This has probably been done to death, but I haven't seen anything recently...

If anyone could give me a hand, it would be most appreciated...

07-20-05, 08:32 AM I played a Karmic Strike raging barbarian based off a build that used a negative AC. The build was called the Sado-Masochist (i think), but dont have a link...

Anyway. A few caveats about my build.

1 - My DM houseruled that Goliaths could take the Headlong Rush feat (either PgTF or RoF)

2 - I used the Warrior class from UA as well as two Flaws. Some DM's may not allow those.

3 - I used the feat Power Lunge from Sword and Fist. It's the only 3.0 item in the build, however it is important to note.

4 - He needed some Damage Reductioin ASAP. When he raged and charged his AC was actually -2. He gets hit A LOT. My DM disallowed the Mineral Warrior template from Underdark, or I would have taken that as well.

He was a blast to play, but he got axed by his own party for the 500 gold bounty on his head. oh well. If you take out the Ronin levels and Power Lunge feat, you can take 2 more Warrior levels and get the feats you need for Frenzied Berserker.

6 - Leap Attack, (EWP: Bastard Sword)b
9 - Power Lunge

Skills:
Max Climb and Jump, plus one more.

If I remember correctly, I gave him a Large Falchion.

ECL 9 Charge attack damage -
PL = Power Lunge, LA = Leap Attack, BC = Bonzai Charge
+15 from STR/PL, +6 from average damage, +24 from LA, +8 from BC = 53

x2 for Headlong Rush = 106
x2 for Crit = 212

He's not the most optimized, I admit. But he was fun to play, and in a non-optimized party he should be okay, as long as he gets some DR, or some of the magic items used in the S/M build.

07-20-05, 11:44 AM Here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=6148406&postcount=24) is a Frenzied Berzerker/Psywarrior with Karmic Strike. Between Deathless Frenzy, Vampiric Blade, and his buffs, he should be extremely dangerous and hard to kill. Of course, that's at level 20, but he should be fairly nasty all the way up.
