Anyone know of a good prestige class for a Ranger/Rogue? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I have been playing a Ranger (3rd)/Rogue(7th) and have considered looking into a prestige class that would mesh well with my persona. He is a hunter/scout type figure which delights in hunting various monsters and mounting their heads (he has taxidermy). Think of a Gaston type character from the Beauty and the Beast cartoon, although my character is not flamboyent at all (char 10), and more rangerish.

Also, if no prestige class is out there, should I put more levels in ranger?

Thanks,

Horizon Walker would fit well check the DMG..but first you might as well go 1 more level in ranger..for combat style mastery

Well, if you went for the mellee option in ranger: invisible blade fits nicely. The best sneak attack in the game (IMHO), and two weapon fighting is certainly possible since you use daggers with it.

It definitely has the flavor aspect too, as you get to fight more with flourish and manuevering than brute strngth and still output more damage.

Rogue3 / Ranger7 / KnightMiddleCircle1 / DarkHunter4 / GuildThief3

The above build is only 18 levels, but without learning more about your emphasis on specific skills, feats, combat preferences, tc. ... and your party composite ... I can't provide you a more customized fit.

Regardless, the above build has a lot of wonderful synergy for a Ranger/Rogue archetype.

Dark Hunter = CW
Guild Thief = FRCS
KotMC = DotF or S&F
