Raptoran is one of the best races to use in a lancer/dragoon build. See my sig. Not explicitly a raptoran optimization, but it works very well with them nonethless -- even without Battle Jump, as if you can get above them anyway, you can dive, which IIRC is treated as a charge. (This still means you lose battle jump's multiplier, but means you don't need to alter jump tactics).
