| Ereanor02-11-04, 05:40 PM | Hello, I'm playing a raging monk from Dragon magazine #310. I was wondering if anyone else decided to go with this alternative. I'd love to see your development as well as share mine(or anyone not playing one for that matter. I really enjoy the flavor of playing a lawful raging monk and would love to learn some other options. Thanks |

I don't subscribe to Dragon, and so don't usually use things out of it. I do think it is fun playing a "monk" who can rage, though. Here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=176924&highlight=trip) is a link to the character I play. It's in the third post. I play him as more of a noble, savage warrior with a strong code of beliefs and conduct (he's Lawful Good) who's tribe emphasizes unarmed combat. |

Stats: str 18 dex 13(will raise at 12) con 14 int 12 wis 16 chr 18 feats so far 1 Iron will 1 Great fortitude 3 Power attack 6 Flying kick(OA) 9 Dwarf's toughness (MotW) I play him as a brawler type who likes to get into melee combat. he has ventured from his homelands to explore the world. He strongly believes in honor and keeping his word, but is very quick to lose his cool. I have considered taking some levels of bear warrior and am still debating it. I like the Singh rager, but I have a low charisma. I also considered taking tattooed monk. We fight a lot of magic users so I like to keep the saves high. looking foward to SR at 13. Thanks a lot for your response. Your build has helped me greatly, I was confused as to what feats to take next and you present some viable options. Do you think its worth taking bear warrior? Thanks |
