Anyone wanna help me build my Pimp?? =) [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-25-04, 06:18 PM Trying to annoy my current DM. Thinking of a character like a rogue or bard but I want a group of mid-low level female cohorts (my stable) who fight for me so I don't have to get my hands dirty.

I'm considering going for standard leadership along with a standard class or something like the Thrallherd from the XPH.

Starting at 10th level, have access to the following books to make the character. PH, DMG, XPH, MM, Underdark, Draconomicon and Arms and Equipment Guide.

Anyone want to take a stab at this one? I want a humorous character but also one that's effective.

General, as a psion, you have some decent combat options, even if you're focused on another one..

Now, if you're willing to do it, and want to have real fun either use the Half Fay template from Fiend Folio (+2 LA I believe, and +4 or 6 cha), or.. for an amusing quick, make a Nixie sprite.. So you have a small pimp with big brains and big .... never mind. Only weakness is you'll be 3 levels down, but +8 cha is nice. (Just consider, roll an 18, put it in cha, +8 racial +1 hd (and next level it's +2) you're at 28 in your prime casting stat, at 11th level, with no items.)

Alternativly, a half dragon psion would work, still go Telepath, but now instead of having one awesome stat you can half alot of really good stats. (easily you can start with 18-20 str, 14-16 dex, int and wis, 14-20 con, and 20 cha with only slightly above average rolls. (Or, if yoru DM does the point buy, you're guarenteed good stats.)

Just my random thoughts.

Sorc would also work, but for that purpose.. psions are cooler (besides, you can have awesome tattoos and be totally pimpin' :p )

05-26-04, 10:49 AM For a true pimp, you have to be a rogue. Half-nymph or half-fey star elf. Max out charisma, your people skills (diplomacy, bluff, intimidate, gather information), and use magic item. Take the Leadership, Negotiator, and Persuasive feats. Buy wands of Charm Person and Suggestion, and of course some potions of love. Any items that give bonuses to your key skill checks are good too. Ask your DM for gold teeth and platform shoes. Then hang around bus and train stations looking for runaways.

Badger your DM into making a Pimp PrC, complete with special abilities (e.g., Pimp Slap 1/day, B*tch Betta Have My Money). Now you're in the game. For reference, rent "Pimps Up, Ho's Down." Have fun!
