If I am reading this correctly The Loremaster Secret Applicalbe knowledge lets you take multivoice. That lets you cast two spells a round. I am Indeed reading this correctly?

Allow me tocall attention to this little pearl of wisdom, which I found in Catharz' signature:
Did I never tell you guys about Hungry Jack? He was a human rogue, who took his 10th level bonus feat as Gape of the Serpent - which is totally legal because he can take any feat he wants and doesn't have to meet prereqs as it is a bonus feat.

So he ran around eating people, which was totally awesome. Truly a great character. Not overpowered, not even really all that good. But it made for a great intro to intimidate checks.

I will eat you.

Good times.

As written, it's a wee bit wonky in the case of the Loremaster ("any one feat"), and it's indeed possible by the most literal-minded viewing of the RAW, but I think we can safely say that the you must meet the prerequisites for the feat, lest we have wizards running around casting a second spell from their nonexistent second mouth and controlling the second gestures by their nonexistent second brains. Or, for that matter, eating people.

I think by even suggesting the combination it has been made quite clear that Devant is not at all concerned about that pesky "common sense" thing :)

Hey, leave sanity out of this.

Honestly though, I posted this hoping to get a, "No that doesn't work". I see no reason with a Modified Int bonus of +8 someone couldn't partition their mind to cast two spells simultaneous. As for the double speak thing, there are stranger things in the game. As for cheese, this is clearly a double helping.

or, you could just, say, hae the feat and only use it when you polymorph into say... a hydra? =)

That makes sense. If you don't qualifiy for the pre-reqs you lose the ability to use it. Isn't that how it works?

Knowing all these rules does me no good when I can't remember ****.

That's how it works, yes. It's also the logic behind the King of Smack taking Improved Natural Attack (Claw) and (Improved) Rapidstrike (Claw) when he doesn't actually have claws.

By the way, Complete Warrior even implies you can meet prereqs with items.
