02-07-04, 08:15 PM Well this is my first time posting a request on the board, I'll just post the charecter I'm working on and perhaps someone will make a suggestion

Currently level 5 in the aranea monster class, I need to cast level 2 spells as a sorcerer for rp so that means a level sorcerer. I want to be a combat mage

Here is what I've got so far

10:havoc mage:eschew materials

12:warshaper: +1 cha
13:warshaper:heighten spell
14:warshaper:
15:warshaper:
16:havoc mage: +1 cha, silent spell, light, suggetion
17:havoc mage:
18:havoc mage: identify, rope trick, major image
19:havoc mage: iron will, detect posion, summon monster IV
20:dragonslayer:+1 str, lion's charge, bridge of sound,
charm monster

I need help with my spell and feat selection mainly also with the best order of taking classes. I really like havoc mage and warshaper and would like to stick with them, spellsword and dragonslayer on in because they give me all the benifits of a level of sorcerer plus other stuff

I think this is probably a good place to start.

02-09-04, 03:16 PM Any particular reason for cutting out the warshaper or moving it to the very end?

I sort of figured it would be good to get fighting cababilities as soon as possible after the first level of havoc mage and then build up my casting ability

02-09-04, 05:06 PM ::shrug:: You can put Warshaper in wherever you want, but you don't need the level of Fighter if you're going to take that level of Dragonslayer unless you really want the bonus feat and a bigger hit die. However, the requirements for Warshaper require you to take at least 2 levels of Sorceror right after Aranea, assuming you decide to forgo that level of Fighter.
