Now, I know that it has taken a while, but, I have really no idea how to play one. Most often I play clerics or a fighting class. Plus, my clerics tend to be more closely linked to front line smashing than spell casting focused. Now, I'd like to play a human sorcerer or a wizard, and my prestige class options are sort of limited. I can use anything out of the DMG, and the Complete Books(those are the only ones I really have, plus some dragon magazines so I could play a Force Missile Mage if I really wanted). I don't want to play another fighter type right now. Any ideas? I was hoping to go mostly as a full caster. Spell Selection and feat selection is my biggest problem, though I kind of need good prestige classes as well. |

Divine Oracle can be workable as well. I would suggest you either focus on a Wiz/Initiate/Archmage/Fatespinner blaster-caster build, or a Wiz/Geometer/Divine Oracle skilled-trapsmith wizard. Human and Grey Elf are the two standard 'best' races for either, although halflings are decent as well. |

Are the dragon heritage feats for sorcerers worthwhile beyond the draconic heritage and Dragon Breath? Should I wear armor and try to cast spells without a somatic component? The spellcasters have so much more freedom to cusotmize than the warrior or even cleric classes, but are limited in their versatility after spells and feats are chosen. |
