Just curious, are there any Prestige Classes that grant +1 level of existing arcane casting and Evasion? I'm looking at going into Arcane Trickster while minimizing lost caster levels with Rogue 1/Spellthief 1 for the Sneak Attack requirement, which means I won't be getting Evasion from base classes.

Mmm. That is a bit tricky. The closest thing I am aware of is the Divine Oracle. Despite the name, it is easy for wizards to meet the requirements for, and it provides an evasion-like ability at second level. The ability refers to itself as a "form of evasion", so your DM may let you use it to qualify for whatever PrC you are aiming for.

Sweet, thanks guys. The requirements kinda suck, but I guess it's not too bad.

If anybody knows of another class that fits the bill then please let me know, but this seems like the best bet.

By taking the Healing domain via feat (what's the name of the feat again?) you can qualify for Combat Medic (need Wis 12 though) and get Evasion on level 4. Level 5 also nets you spontaneous Heal.

Also, if you really want to optimize your caster levels, go for Halfling Rogue 1 racial substitution level, gaining 2d6 sneak attack with ranged weapons which technically qualifies you for Arcane Trickster.

The loredelver class gets you evasion, and eventually imporved evasion. Its from races of destiny. Unfortunately, it requires, usually a level of rogue beforehand, and it loses a castre level at first.
