samoosa691 05-01-04, 03:56 PM	hey everyone i'm looking for ways on protecting a dwarven wizard. In the near future i will be transforming into a half-fiend and am looking for ways on gaining more hp's, higher ac or what have you. The current build is race dwarven wizard6/fighter1/spellsword1/wizard1 stats are [set in stone] str 12 dex 14 con 18 int 20 wis 13 cha 8 items: wand of magic missle bumped up to 5th caster level (crafted) +1 mithril chain shirt (no asf because of spellsword) +2 bastard sword (part of the character development) war raptor wearing +1 chainshirt masterworked +1 str mighty comp longbow feats: craft wand scribe scroll school focus evocation point blank shot precise shot ewp bastard sword (for character development) mind over matter (created feat to replace str/dex with int if opponent hasn't move within 30') I specialized in evocation spells, now the major problem with the future of this build is levels, since i will be transforming into a half fiend, I need ways of protecting myself. What's in: everything except boed (book of exaulted deeds) I've asked for some opinions before on this board for the same build and they were helpful, however lots has changed so i'm reposting this. Sang-Drax 05-05-04, 10:37 AM	Well, try buying a bended quartz full plate armor (-20% ASF), and enchant it with twilight enchantment (-10% ASF). Twilight *is* in BoED, ok... but I don't know if it's on other books as well, and I don't know if you're not allowed to use anything at all or if only feats are forbbiden. If you can't get this enchantment, then try getting the 3rd spellsword level to lower your ASF to -15%, then get the bended quartz full plate without twilight enchantment. Bended Quartz is a special material from Arms and Equipment guide.
