Arcane Hierophant build [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-04-06, 01:54 AM I would like opinions on an Arcane Hierophant build. Im allowed use of any Forgotten Realms material as well as all other non campaign specific WoTC products. I am already a 3rd lvl sidhe scholar from Dragon 339 and 1st lvl conjurer from UA. My stats are as follows

Str - 14
Dx - 14
Cn - 16
Int - 16
Wis - 18
Cha - 17

So let me know what would be my best options from this point. Thanks.

And what is a "sidhe scholar"? Sounds a lot like Archivist.

03-04-06, 12:20 PM I haven't read that rule, must be in the ToS after they put the boards back up, my apologies. The sidhe scholar is just a druid variant...they get d6 hp, higher knowledge nature and survival skills, skill emphasis to knowledge nature..a virtual 2 to wisdom but only for increased number of spells, and a few other little "trinkets".

03-04-06, 12:48 PM My DM has stated that trackless step is an ability that I get with this class, so I don't have to worry about that caveat.

As for Arcane Heirophant, your standard is pretty much Wiz 3/Druid 3/Mystic Theurge 2/Arcane Heirophant 10/Mystic Theurge 2. I'm assuming in this case that your Sidhe scholar replaces the druid. If you're using fractional BAB from Unearthed Arcana, then you can go straight into AH after wiz3/druid3.

Another option is to start with Wiz 2/Druid 3/Mindbender 1 (mindbender is from Complete Arcane).

03-04-06, 01:06 PM thank you, I appreciate those comments. I was aware of some of the more basic constructions of the Arcane Hierophant, i was simply trying to see if anything new had come out since my last visit. Seemingly, its all about the same but I appreciate everything said none the less.
