| Ehriol12-22-06, 03:23 PM | Hi i seeking a good build for a good use of this great feat ... i can only use CW CA CV CD; and DMG, PHB PHB2 , and the Races of stone, wild ,dragons and destiny. I guess part of the key to success is the Eldritch Knight... so maybe a build oriented to that would be great Thanks a lot and Happy Chirstmass and New year |

If you have access to ToB, then the jade pheonix mage has a very nice arcane strike-like ability, which grants +4 attack and 1d10 per spell level. you can use it and arcane strike in the same round |
| Ehriol12-22-06, 03:43 PM | Ok i only have access to Complete Warrior, Arcane , divine adventurer ; Races of The Wild, Stone , Destiny , Dragons but only to the feats and prestige classes of the races... As well The Player Handbook I and II ande the Dungeon MAster Guide. I was thinking in a CHar that have a good number of attacks per round to have good deal of the arcane strike feat also some tanks and fight characteristics Thanks for your patiente and Knowledge |
| aziraphale6012-22-06, 04:23 PM | i still say duskblade13/bard1/sublime chord6 for pure sillyness maybe toss in jade phoenix mage to add to those sublime chord levels. |

You can also TWF with for a fairly crazy amount of attacks. Don't forget ascetic mage feat for removal of some of your MAD and a bit of extra synchronization |
| DaveTheMagicWeasel12-22-06, 04:59 PM | Using those books I'd suggest: Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 4 / Spellsword 1 / Ruarthar 3 / Eldritch Knight 10 |
| aziraphale6012-22-06, 05:00 PM | Using those books I'd suggest: Paladin 2 / Sorcerer 4 / Spellsword 1 / Ruarthar 3 / Eldritch Knight 10 he'll only get 8th level spells. unless he's a kobold and does a greater rite of draconic heritage. |
| thefred12-22-06, 05:05 PM | spellthief fighter if your in a wizard heavy campaign, so u can steal spells and then burn em the next round, if not then.... meh. |
| Ehriol12-22-06, 05:12 PM | All your suggestion are fantastic thanks a lot maybe this could help more to this thread.. The Character is an Elf and has this stats Str 15 Dex 20 Con 10 Int 17 Wis 14 Cha 12 =) so maybe the key for this build is and Int oriented char thanks for the patiente and knowlegde wiating for more greats suggesitions |

| DaveTheMagicWeasel12-22-06, 07:11 PM | he'll only get 8th level spells. unless he's a kobold and does a greater rite of draconic heritage. Yeah, but without more books he basically has to lose 1 from EK, and 1 from a class to get martial weapon proficiencies. So it becomes a choice between 9th level spells at level 20 or Divine Grace from level 2 onwards. If you're starting really high and heading epic then 9th level spells are better, but if you're starting lower i'd pick Divine Grace. I'd probably go with either Fighter 1 / Wizard 6 / Spellsword 5 / Eldritch Knight 9, or Swashbuckler 3 / Wizard 4 / Ruarthar 3 / Eldritch Knight 10 What level are you starting at? It can make a big difference on the level arrangement if you need to survive the lower levels as a gish bfore you come into your own. Also, I'd recommend investing in Con boosting magic items and fitting in the Improved Toughness feat. Be sure to have False Life as a spell known as well. You're going to need to squeeze every hit point out that you can with that Con. I'd also suggest starting combats with some ranged debuffs (Enervation, Rayof Enfeeblement, Dispel Magic, etc) before closing in for the kill. |
