I'll be playing the following character and would be helped with some item choice recommendations for a 8th character:

27000 GP

5 Clr / 3 Seeker of the Misty Isle

Stats:
Str 11
Dex 19
Con 14
Wis 20
Int 13
Cha 13

Feats:
Extend Spell
Persistant Spell
Divine Metamagic: Persistant Spell

Skills: high in Hide and MS, Spot, Survival, Concentration

What do you feel would be this character's optimal items with 27000 GP and all books?

Thanks!

No offense.. but how did you get to seeker of the misty isle with only 5 levels of cleric? Oh.. somehow got the survival skill? From a domain?

Okay.. to answer your question. First.. I wouldn't waste money on magic arrows. They get destroyed. A magic bow that does energy damage is cheap.. and that means you affect DR/magic. To know what bow to get, I need to know your strength.

Strength of 11, you will persist Divine Power making it 17. That's +3.. composite longbow +3, magic +1, shocking. That's 8500gp. That adds 1d6 to damage.. or you could go with "precise", from A&EG. That gives you the benefit of the precise shot feat with your bow. Energy route (could go frost, fire, whatever..) 1d8+3(str)+2(divine favor)+1d6(energy).. and make sure you use greater magic weapon on this.. for +2 (magic)

How many turn attempts do you have? If you have less than 14, and you want to persist two spells, get a nightstick.. (libris mortis) that gives you another +4 turn attempts if that helps. That's 7500gp. Hmm.. upon closer inspection, you have 4 turn attempts.. 3 cleric, 1 cha. You need at least 7 to persist a spell.. so you need the night stick. That will give you a total of 8 turn attempts.

With your Dex/Wisdom.. I would be tempted to go with a monks belt. But it's real spendy.. 13,000gp. It would give your wisdom+1 to your AC if you go without armor. Perhaps at this level, going the armor route is okay.

I would not ever buy armor that is magical! Use "Magic Vestments" and cast it "Extended." For 16 hours you will have magic armor. (And you can only travel 8 hours a day without fatigue issues.)

Most of the other suggestions are pretty good.. you need AC. Again.. I like the monks belt route as you approach 10th. So.. I would go Amulet of Natural armor +1, gloves of dex +2 as well.. and normal chain. (or masterwork mithral) I would stay away from a ring of protection, it won't stack with "shield of faith", which is a deflection bonus.

bow - 8300gp
night stick - 7500gp
amulet of nat armor +1- 2000
Glove of dex +2- 4000
Bracers of Armor +2 - 4000
Handy Haversack - 2000 (gotta carry stuff)
masterwork chainmail - (don't have a book)-- 300gp?

Total.. 28100
I would use your diplomacy skill to knock off 10% to fit under
the 27000 gp limit! ;)
(or give up the haversack for now)
