Thomric 02-03-04, 02:28 PM	Hey Everyone... My main character is a melee based Dwarf Cleric (no persistant spell), he has the leadership feat and qualifies for a 7th level Cohort. I'd like to make the second character less roleplay, more ass-kicking. And our group lacks any major ranged power, so i was thinking an archer. But as i'd like to keep it simple the cleric/archer route will be too overwhelming. So i'd like to create the best archer i can, i.e. high BAB, all the archery feats. The only books i can use are: Core 3.5, Complete Warrior, FRCS. any number of core classes, but max 1 prestige, unless it runs all 10 (or 5) levels, then another is possible, etc... I was thinking Ranger 6/Order of the Bow Initiative 10/ *, and i like the Improved Rapid Shot feat. Any core race is fine, but Woodelf (+2 Str/Dex, -2 Con/Int) is also a consideration. Our campaign is currently in Cormanthor Forest in the Forgotten Realms. 32 point buy. I'd appriciate your help! Edit: I have done searches on this, but they all return results including prestige classes i don't have access too, Peerless archer and such, so they won't work...
Thomric 02-03-04, 05:29 PM	Well, after contacting my DM he said he'd allow the Deepwood Sniper from the Masters of the Wild as well, I may also be able to talk him out of his "complete all 10 levels" rule. So what is the best way to utilize the MotW Deepwood Sniper instead of (or with) the Complete Warrior Order of the Bow Initiate. Or is OotBI even worth it? Unfortunatly i can't talk him into Silver Marches Peerless Archer... We don't have the book either, which makes things difficult. How does this look? Rng 1 Point Blank Shot, Track Fgt 2 Precise Shot Fgt 3 Far Shot, Weapon Focus Fgt 4 Fgt 5 Weapon Spec Rng 6 Rapidshot, Multishot DS 7 DS 8 DS 9 Improved Rapid Shot DS 10 DS 11 DS 12 * DS 13 DS 14 DS 15 * DS 16 OotBI 17 OotBI 18 * OotBI 19 OotBI 20 I'm not sure where to go after DS, or if i can get out early (7 levels of DS) what do do with my last 7 levels?
