| zetsumi hayaku10-30-06, 03:16 PM | A carry over from a thread I posted a week ago. Books allowed: PHB, CoW, Frostburn, Possibly Heroes of Battle Restriction: NO MAGIC, Human only Using the non magical version of the ranger, currently scout1/ranger4, Str 13 Con 14 Dex 15 Int 13 Wis 12 Cha 11 Ranger 6/Scout14 Feats: 1)Human Bonus: Precise Shot Regular: Point Blank Shot 2) Ranger Bonus: Track 3)Ranger: Rapidshot Regular: Improved Initiative 4)Ranger: Endurance 6) Regular: Improved toughness 7)Ranger: Manyshot 9) Regular: Far Shot 10) Scout Bonus: Dodge 12) Regular: Mobilitiy 14)Scout Bonus: Shot on the run 15) Regualr: Quick Draw 18) Regular: Improved Rapid Shot Scout Bonus: Quick Reconnoiter I'm wondering if this build would benefit from adding the dread commando prestige class. I don't own HoB, but looking at the excerpt on the wizards page, the bonuses seem pretty good. My character is the hunter/archer/healer in my group and considering the lack of magical healing, I wanted to be the guy who could scout and seriously hurt things before we had to go toe to toe with them. Also, I need to maximize damage to living things as trying to bring down a musk ox with a short bow is very hard. |
