So I want to make a cleric focused on supporting the party in as many ways as possible - ranged attack via bows, monster summoning, usual buffing stuff, possible makeshift skillmonkeyism, et al.

I've got 2 build skeletons so far - The first is a Human Cleric 4 / Seeker of the Misty Isle 4 / Abjurant Champion 5 / X7.

The second is a Human Ranger 1 / Cleric 4 / Seeker of the Misty Isle 4 / Windwalker 10 / Y1.

(Note that I am using the customization options for Seeker and Abjurant Champion to adapt them for divine casting / non racial and deity specificity.)

What I'd like to know is what to take for X and Y, and whether it's worth sacking those 1 or 2 CLs and a bunch of feats for Windwalker. I really, really like the mobility benefits and class abilities, but... well, I don't know.

Help me CO, you're my only hope.

As I understand it, Human clerics can't be Seekers of the Misty Isle (race = elf or half-elf).

If you want to be a human, try this:

Cleric 5/Ruathor 1+/Whatever
Ruathor gets you proficiency with longbows as well as a free magic longbow.

OR

Cleric 5/Radiant Servant of Pelor X
RSoP gets you martial weapon proficiency as well.

Feats: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, Rapid Shot, Extend Spell, Persistent Spell, DMM: Persistent Spell, maybe Zen Archery (as needed)
Spells: Divine Favor, Divine Power

The easier way is to be an elf; the elf domain gets you free Point Blank Shot and you'll be proficient with bows as a racial ability.

The adaptation lets you file off the race and deity requirements. And where does Ruathar qualify you for elf classes? Would definitely take it if it worked that way...

Also, why can't an atheist cleric just take the Elf domain anyway? Is there a hard rules requirement, or can it be RPed away?
