Golems for example are piercing resistant so I am wondering how archer builds overcome that? Cleric archer build can at least cast some spells...

Races of the Wild has a couple of new types of arrows that you may be able to use to overcome the DR. Blunt arrows deal bludgenoning damage instead of piercing damage; however, they deal nonlethal damage, so they wouldn't be that effective against golems either. RotW also has serpentstongue arrows, which deal both piercing and slashing damage.

Coppied out of SRD, wonderous items:

Scarab, Golembane

This beetle-shaped pin enables its wearer to detect any golem within 60 feet, although he must concentrate (a standard action) in order for the detection to take place. A scarab enables its possessor to combat golems with weapons, unarmed attacks, or natural weapons as if those golems had no damage reduction.

Moderate divination; CL 8th; Craft Wondrous Item, detect magic, creator must be at least 10th level; Price 2,500 gp.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

It would cost 3,750 gp to add this to any other amulet/scarab your wearing currently. The bane ability doesn't help that much, however. Universal DR is hard to get around, so use spells such as harm(living)/heal(undead) and non-type magic damage.

Oh yeah, wizards, war mages, and sorc's can make pretty nice archers with eldritch knite. Or go arcan archer.

so basically if I were a non-spell caster archer I am screwed right? Then for my Cleric Archer build what Abilities should I try to increase so I wont get screwed over facing some piercing DR enemies? WIS,CON,DEX etc...? Right now the party consists of a wizard and 2 fighters...

Well, having an enchanted bow with flaming, frost, ect. would still do damage but just not any piercing.

Also, you could grab a melee weapon to use in such cases that nothing can be done.

ok. so should I still try to focus my feats on shooting or split it up more on melee too?

Don't worry about it. How often do you actually expect to come up against DR/slashing or bludgeoning? Carry a sword or mace as your melee weapon.

If you feel the need to split up your feats, carry a two-handed melee weapon and choose Power Attack. That single feat will make you nearly as good in melee as someone dedicated to it.

If you’re willing to spend 300 gp more you could get an Elvencraft Bow modification from Races of the Wild on your bow. It allows you use it as a melee weapon that deals bludgeoning damage and enchantments of your bow still apply to your attacks when you use it as a melee weapon. That way you don't have to use feats or money to focus on another weapon type.
