Archivist Archer?! [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-23-05, 10:47 PM I just realized that an archivist would have access to hunter's mercy, bless weapon, true strike, divine power...
Wow.
... Wow.
What's the potential abuse for this? Is there any way to get enough turning to use the Divine Metamagic: Persist cheese? I mean... "Cleric Archer" power, with every shot threatening a critical, and then automatically confirming? Wow. Or should I say OW. What else is there?

Yes, the "Archervist" would be pretty nice. Not quite as good as a Cleric (because Domain access is limited until higher levels, making feats costly), but still nice.

Caelic has suggested Seeker of the Misty Isle for a PrC, and I think that's a sound choice.

10-24-05, 02:30 PM also look at the Bless Weapon spell description regarding projectile weapons, and the Blessed property operates exactly like the spell, meaning you'd have to use +1 Blessed arrows as ammunition since the Bless Weapon spell specifically says that projectile weapons do not confer this ability upon ammunition they fire
