For RP reasons I really like the concept of an Archivist/fiend binder. An occult scholar that delves into old tombs and temples, looking for eldrich secrets and the true names of demons to increase his power. Mechanic wise, it should work as well as a Wizard, with Int being the primary stat. I've never played either before, and aside from Truename Training, Practiced Spell caster, and the Dark lore feats, I am not sure what else I should take. Build so far is Human Archivist 7/Fiendbinder 10/Archivist 3. Thaumaturgist would be a PrC I would consider, but because it can't be taken till lvl 8 either means that I wouldn't be able to get the two nicest abilitys, planar cohort and contigent sumoning. Any help would be appreciated!
