Archivist Rules Clarification... [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-21-06, 06:51 AM Ok, if a divine spell is on several classes spell lists, at different levels (Such as Resist Energy. Cleric 2, Ranger 1), which one does an archivist use? Do they have to use Cleric as default (or from their spell gained when they level), or can they choose to research whichever one they want?

02-21-06, 07:11 AM I think it depends on how you're getting the spell. If it's from a scroll, you can take the lower level list. If it's from a domain, you have to take the cleric level.
