Ske 10-31-05, 01:47 PM	Pixie and wizard doesn't really mix well, you know (you seem to know). Is this something to do with the campaign, or? You don't want to lose those caster levels.

Quenditar 10-31-05, 02:44 PM	Since it's an NPC, the LA isn't a concern. Just find some wizard build you like (if you have Player's Guide to Faerun, Wiz5/Incantatrix 10/Archmage 5/Incantatrix 11+ seems solid) and give it to the pixie.

Boost her stats with tomes and wishes and give her a robe of the archmagi, bracers of armor +13*, necklace of CON or WIS, headband of INT, gloves of DEX, belt of dwarvenkind or STR, cloak of resistance, and some other items as you see fit. *Extrapolating the formula, bracers of armor +13 cost 169,000 and are the most you can get without paying epic prices. -EE
aod318 10-31-05, 06:31 PM	Nothin' wrong with a Pixie wizard. Just because Sorcerer is favored, they get +6 Int and +6 Cha. Pick up the feat to improve your fly to perfect, float around imp invisiable and blast people.

And her fly speed and Invisibility only strengthens the combination, because Telekinetic Sphere isn't technically an attack (IIRC)

LA and Sublime Chord do not play well together. It's the skill ranks prereq that gets you. With a +4 LA you can't get 13 ranks in a skill until ECL 14, leaving only 6 levels for SC pre-epic.

Of course, +4 LA can be removed at ECL 12, so there you go.(If his DM does LA buyoff from Unearthed Arcana.)
