Are there any know-entire-list divine casters? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-02-06, 09:26 PM IE, like a Beguiler, Warmage, etc.? Any divine caster that knows its entire list and casts spontaneously?

12-02-06, 09:34 PM Closest thing is the Spirt Shaman from Complete Divine. It sends its "spirt guide" each day to collect its limited amount of spells known (pulled from the Druid list). It then can switch its spells known each day (Unlike a Sorc or Favored Soul). Its a good Spontaneous Caster for it gets 9th lvl spells at 16th lvl like normal Druids, but it gets 6 spells per day like almost all spont summoners. It isn't that bad of a base class, though most people prefer druids for druids have wild shape (spirt shaman has other abilities, they are good just not the total pawnage that is wild shape.)

Self-resurrection isn't total pawnage?

Using a particularly badly worded feat, be a Human Archivist and pick up the Magical Training (Sorcerer) and Versatile Spellcaster feats. You still have to find the spells in the first place, but you can obtain and cast any divine spell from any class list and spontaneously cast any spell in your prayerbook by dumping two spells of a lower level.

Not exactly full spontaneity, but still pretty damn good.

12-02-06, 11:33 PM Well...it's not exactly what you're asking for, but a Warmage xx/Rainbow Servant 10 has spontaneous access to the entire cleric spell list.
