Does mithril mechanus plate make your speed 20ft instead of 15ft?
Do the enhancement bonuses magical chahar-ainas and dastanas stack when determining your total armour AC?
If not, then what is the best non-exotic medium armour a psion who wants to move fairly quickly can get?

02-19-06, 01:57 PM chahar-ainas, provide an AC bonus. The RAW (I believe) specifically states that it can increase the AC of the existing armor by 1, however, further enhancement bonuses to AC do not stack.

Consider the chahar-aina an unnamed bonus to AC, but enhancement bonuses to AC are still enhancement bonuses and do not stack with other enhancement bonues.

As for the mechanus plate... I dunno. Looking at the mithril entry I don't see anything about speed increase, and the armor speed entry mentions nothing about the speed reduction in correlation with armor weight. My guess is that the speed would be unchanged.

By RAW, your speed would still by 15 ft, as far as I can tell. But you'd get the full running multiplier.

Heavy counts as medium, medium as light.

I would say that it would indeed change it to 20ft.
