If your DM allows the Cosmopolitan feat from FR, you can use the feat make certain clutch skills class skills for you. I only felt it necessary to make Sleight of Hand a class skill. I use my crafting abilities to craft items of ridiculous bonuses to my skills, along with the Skill Enhancement infusion, since one is a competence bonus, and the other is a circumstance bonus. Due to the Artificers ability to make wands and scrolls that cast silence, improved invisiblity, knock, etc..., the only reason to take levels in rogue and assasin in for the sneak attack damage. Everything else the other two can do and be done better by an Artificer that focuses on making items that boost his thievery ability. |
