Your a 20th level artificer with a suped up legacy weapon. Im having trouble deciding on a legacy weapon progression. I am a warforged bufficer with

str 16, con 18, dex 12, int 18, wis 10, cha 12

anyone look deep into the legacy weapons yet for a good build?

I may be mis-remembering this but I thought the Weapon of Legacy Champion skipped 2 levels with the "+1 existing class feature" ability, which would make for a effective 18th level artificer not 20th.

Anyway, I say you would be better off Forging your own Weapon of Legacy insteasd of choosing one. You end up spending some XP bit in general you end up with a very powerful personalized weapon.

Good luck either way.

yeah your right so 18th level still good.

Thats what I plan to do, forge my own. I was asking for some good builds for just such a forging from scratch.

One of the big things about legacy items, is they cut out the need for a creator (Except for that first +1). So why go with an artificer who is all about enchanting, for an item that never needs to be enchanted? They just seem to make more sense for a fighter type to me.
Unless someone were thinking of an eternal wand of legacy, but that's where I think the mechanics would begin to go a bit wierd.
