gwarath 04-21-05, 09:09 PM	I creating an artificer in Eberron and i am trying to find which book contains a class of gnome gadgeter i only found Effigy Master in comp arcana biut i am sure there is another one somwhere. Anybody know?
Tempest Stormwind 04-21-05, 09:22 PM	The closest I can think of is Gnome Artificer in Races (or was it Magic?) of Faerun. I do remember it was a FR class, so it won't be available in Eberron without DM permission. Besides, Artificer 20 is perfectly viable, by the way. It's even considered relatively optimized -- even the early experiments in optimization only swapped out two levels, tops (and THAT was for the pre-errata Syberis Mark of Making -- yes, it took something like that to consider swapping artificer levels.).
Doctor_Jello 04-21-05, 09:52 PM	Power Build you want Power build you get 12 artificer / 3 stone blessed / 5 battlesmith stoneblessed and battlesmith are located in Races of stone. Your caster level for creating weapons / armor will be through the roof. for crafting magic weapons your caster level will be 29 for magic items you can create with magic arms and armor. problem is you will be only able to create 15th level items. But you can can finish your artificer after wards. Its the only recommendation I have and I used it quite well. *back before the 3 artisan feats got erratta'd. not only that your BAB and your Fort save will be alot nicer.
DM Denubis 04-21-05, 10:29 PM	Might not be what you're looking for, but if you mean the Maester, it's in Complete Adventurer. Also, I recommend you take a look at some of the Artificer builds around here, such as the Blastificer. They get pretty crazy pretty fast.
