Ashbound Savage Bard = Optimized? [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-07-05, 05:16 PM I was thinking that since a savage bard (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#bardVariantS avageBard) can cast Summon Nature's Ally spells, they would be good with the Music of Growth feat, and later the Song of the Heart feat. Then I realized that they would also qualify for Ashbound. This would give all summoned nature's allies in the area (if they are animals or plants) a +6 to Strength and Constitution, and an additional +3 luck bonus.

Also, Ashbound druids urge people to live in harmony with nature, and I see a savage bard doing that, even though he does cast arcane spells.

So, any thoughts for other feats or prestige classes to use with this?

09-07-05, 05:52 PM I'm always a fan of the F-in Lyrist (CV) (which is what I call it) it's the perfect blend of Bard and Druid. Full BaB, Arcane and Divine spellcasting at each level, decent skills and hp.

09-07-05, 06:38 PM Using Savage Bard to qualify for the summoning feats is a great idea, especially with Music of Growth. However, I do believe that Greenbound Summoning [LEoF] is considerable more powerful than Ashbound summoning.
