I'm looking for a good ashworm dragoon build for an ECL of eleven, the stats I have are 18, 17, 15, 14, 11, 12 and the books i have access to are;
Core books
Complete series (sans complete psionic)
Expanded Psionics Handbook
Tome of Magic
Tome of Battle
Sandstorm
Book of Vile Darkness
Libris Mortis
Players handbook 2
Dungeons Master's guide 2
Monster Manual 2
Races of Ebberon
Races of the Wild
Epic Level Handbook
Savage Species
and Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss

And I'm trying to avoid the LG paladin (but i do have the other paladin variants on the SRD) because I want my mount to keep it's poisonous sting.
....take the venom from an ashworm and what've you got?......y'got a belt

The sting's DC will be 17 for (something)/5, dragoon/6. Most of the monsters you fight will make that save on what, a 6+? If they're susceptible to poison at all? In the worst case scenario, lets say you're fighting a 12th level sorcerer with 10 Con. He's got a Fort save of 4, with no modifier, so he's got to roll a 12 or higher. That means that the weakest conceivable threatening enemy you could fight, would have a 40% chance of making the save. And it'll only get worse.

The dragoon is a great class. That whole paragraph about the paladin de-poisoning it is kind of vague; does it stack with paladin levels for benefits, or simply gain benefits already accrued? The 2nd interpretation is more likely, but there's no harm in asking your DM.

It's unfortunate that you can't take more paladin levels before entering the dragoon. Fighter/2, Paladin/8, Dragoon/10 would be a real nice character.

So um, unfortunately, I'm going to have to be a douche and recommend paladin/5 dragoon/6.

If you simply don't want to be lawful good, that's fine. While an LG or CG paladin might abhor poison for its cruelty and cowardliness, a CE or LE paladin might eschew poison because it lacks the visceral joy of sundering your opponent like a stack of wet newspapers. Besides, even evil people are pragmatic; being able to summon your mount from the sky, communicate with it empathically, and share your spells and saves with it is just plain fine.

Ok ok ok... let's say you really dig poison. Here's what you do:

fighter/2, warblade/3, dragoon/6 (remember! your IL [initiator level] is equal to your warblade level +1/2 of your other levels!)

For your warblade stuff, take the stance "Leading the Charge", which states "allies deal +1 dam/IL on charge attacks". Um, is your worm your ally? Well it's sure not your enemy. ;) There ya go. Every attack it gets on a charge gets +7 damage.

Then, since you're so hard up for poison, remind your DM that the feats assigned to creatures are in a sense, suggestions, not racial imperatives. So, you've got 3 feats to pick for your 7 HD worm. Well, how about Ability Focus (poison sting), Virulent Poison, and Deadly Poison (all from Savage Species). Voila! Now your poison DC is 21 (lvl 12 fighter with 16 Con has a Fort save of 11, so that's a 50/50 shot. Much worse for non-fightery types), and instead of doing 2d6 Str damage on the secondary effect, you do 4d6. So if their Fort save really sucks, and they're susceptible to poison, they're pretty well out of luck.
