| Jinn Celestial11-13-05, 05:08 PM | We are playing Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, and i find my pally keeps ending up almost dead in every encounter. :weep: My DM lives and breathes D&D and knows every trick to make our lives as a team unbearable, he makes the smallest monster a master stratigist. I need some advice on how to get the best out of this character. This is his build presently: Pal 3 / Sor 2 / DD 1 / asimar (LA +1) Str 16 Dex 12 Con 14 Wis 14 Cha 16 HP 52 AC 22 BAB + 4 Hes wearing Full plate +1 and weilds a greatsword +1 and has gaunlets of ogre str Feats: Blindfight, Wepon focus (great sword), and power attack. Spells : truestrike and shield. I expect his DD class to buff him alot as he progresses, but even the DD 3.5 class is kinda nerfed to me, from the 3.0 version, they dropped enlargement, and the breath weapon stinks at lvl 10. Any advice on how to turn this rather tasteless champion of justice, into a spicy picante monster slayer. I'm looking for feats ideals, ideals on how to get the best damage out of the greatsword, class progression thoughts any good advice you guys can think of would be great. PS I will say one thing I love the Paladin Saving throw bonuses! :P |
