Asking for opinions on this TS build [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-29-03, 08:27 AM I am attempting to map out my next char, but I'm stuck--not sure which levels to give him. I know that I want him to have 6 levels of Teflammar Shadowlord and either 6 levels of Bladesinger or 7 levels of Asassin. The rest of the levels will be Ninja (Rokugan) levels. The DM is not allowing the Shadowlord Template, so I will need either the BS levels or the Assassin levels to qualify for TS (I decided Horizon Walker wasn't what I wanted for this character).

Anyone have opinions about which would be the better choice?

10-29-03, 10:49 AM I'd say BS, hands down, I was never a big fan of assassin. Note that this means there's little need to take 6 levels of TS, either 4 or 5, depending if you like the level 5 ability or not. Also, I'd probably take 7 in BS, to get the armor use.

10-29-03, 12:37 PM bladesinger is the more powerful variant.

i dont like BS personally if you have to play through all the low levels, you will really suck :)

I was thinking BS would probably be the best choice as well. I just wish I didn't have to give up so many sneak attack damage dice, heh.
