04-30-04, 11:26 AM Hello, Im going to be DM'ing soon and I need help with a build for an assasain, I wanted to make one with good saves and a high Death Attack so I came up with this:

Drow Elf

Rouge3/Hexblade3/Corruptor2 ( NE Palladin, from Dragon Magazine)
Assassin 2 Im looking for a CR 10 NPC

The feat selection would be Weapon Finesse, Improved Initiative and Ability Focus: Death attack I am using a 32pt buy so the stats would be

Str 10
Dex 18
Con 12
Int 16
Wis 10
Cha 16

Death Attack DC of 19 with Assassin Dagger as weapon

any other sugestions? feats or PrC? Corrected the spelling thank you for pointing it out, yes it was a typo typing fast when I should be at work is not good more my spelling :)

04-30-04, 03:04 PM Question: Why Drow elf? This is most often a bad idea as the +2LA is not good for most builds. unless you are building with the UA purchasing the LA thing then of course go right ahead....

04-30-04, 04:04 PM Its not going to be a playing character, its going to be a nasty NPC thye may encounter, I chose Drow for the +2 Cha Int and Dex . I could use a Grey Elf I supose

Is this guy going to be fighting the PC's directly?

If so I must ask why you want to have a high death attack DC. Are you aiming to kill the players?
Are you one of those evil PK Dms?

05-02-04, 08:51 PM kill one player perhaps, they may not even encounter him it depends on the actions of the players in a campain I will be running, it would be a hit and run kind of thing, Im too nice to be a PK DM so I would probably have the town spring for a raise dead anyway. :angel: if they were able to uncover him they would be fighting him but basicly he would be used to make a point, a quick assassination and then disapear
