I don't play D&D all that much, but when we get a bunch of friends together and get a game going, we all have alot of fun.

Anyways, since I don't play often, I don't like playing characters EXTREMELY complicated.

The next game I thought about playing an assassin type character, seems cool "flavor" wise.

Was wondering if anyone can give me an outline of stuff to copy/print to help make a good assassin character, whatever race, equip, ect.

I don't know alot about the class, but I like the idea of being a fear character that can get in and out, and have a name for himself.

Sorry if i'm not precise enough. :(

What books are available to you? Since you dont like complicated characters I recomend that you stay away from the Assassin prestige class. Its not that the class isnt great, cause it is, its just has many machanics, such as spells, that could make it complicated for you.

Heres the easy one: Rogue 16/ Fighter 4

Heres a variant: Rogue 13/ Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 4 (int to damage is nice)

Heres a more complicated one: Rogue 11/ Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 1/ Invisible Blade 5

Or maybe: Rogue 8/ Fighter 4/ Swashbuckler 3/ Invisible Blade 5

Close to complicated: Rogue 3/ Monk 2/ Invisible Blade 5/ Ninja of the Crescent Moon 10

Twoweapon fighting is a winner for all of them.
