Assist optimizing Warforged Charger/Tank to resist the killer DM of Insanity and Doom [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-03-06, 02:51 AM I've got a new DM spelling my GF (Who normaly runs my games, and is the owner of this account *chuckle*) and he's got a stated intrest in killing off the party (My girl is a little lax with PK.) Three of the six party members bit it in the first session, including my rogue and the pair of druids who were acting as frontline, so I asked for and aquired permission to go all out and realy make a beatstick. Here's what I've got so far.

Warforged Male Personality Fighter, LN
18 Str
13 Dex
20 Con
12 Int
10 Wis
12 Cha (After my lv 4 statpoint)

Feat Selection so far

Fig1 Admantine Body (Character), Power Attack (Fighter), Toughness (Flaw), Roll With It (Flaw)
Fig2 Improved Bull Rush (Fighter)
Fig3 Iron Will (Character)
Fig4 Cleave (Fighter) (+1 Cha)

Further progression will looking something like this

Fig5
Fig6 Shock Trooper (Fighter)
Jugernaut1 , Powerful Charge (Class)
Jug2
Fig7 Ki Shout (Char, from OE)

The feats for past here arent worked out that well, just the 4 lvs of Rager.

Singh2 Rage *Yay*
Singh3
Singh4 Pounce *Yay!*

From here I'm either going to BS an allignment change and go Frenzied berserker (and take the ragey feats required at some point) or go Singh Rager/Fighter/Juggy for the rest of the way. With that track dropping cleave from fighter 4 is doable if anything better can be dug up - I couldnt find anything I qualified for that was better. Anywhere I can sqeeze in more Roll With It is good as my AC is going to be horrendous from frequent use of Shock Troopers Heedless Charge function.

Our DM has been hitting us with alot of Ibixian goatfolk (MM3) and Skullcrusher Ogres. Looks to be alot of giants in general, with more goats on the horizon. Luckily I havent run into alot of magey types, but I imagine that'll change. Jug2 imunity to mind affecting is happy-fun. If I cant get into Berserker I may take the crappy Will flaw and squeeze something in there.

Anyhow, please feel free to make sugestions. Any input is apreciated.

02-03-06, 03:25 PM Frenzied Berserker works intensely well with Warforged Juggernaut. Just make sure the party has some way to quickly disable you if you start failing Will saves and run out of non-party people to chop up.

02-03-06, 04:43 PM One of the primary reasons I want to go Singh Rager is that it meshes so well with Berserker. Gives rage obviously, but also gives a good will save and requires iron will to get in to, so if it can be worked out that would be fun-happy-times. Assuming that it will be doable, what feats should I take, do you see where I could squeeze in the two Rage feats requisite for Frenzied Berserker without sacrificing anything too important?
