Inconceivable 02-04-07, 12:16 AM	I have a Ninja-10 that just became a dark creature. I would like to branch off into another class or PrC. I was thinking of going into PsyWarrior for 2 levels to get to Elocater, but I am afraid it my be too late for that and I wouldnt get any use out of the psionic ablities. If anyone knows anything that would help, I would appreciate the assistance. (stick to Wizards material please)
smage 02-04-07, 01:10 AM	Could try 9 levels of Monk and slap the Aescetic Stalker feat from Complete Scoundrel onto it (Monk and Ninja levels stack for Ki pool, unarmed damage, and ki strike. Of course, you could just slap 1 level of Monk and the feat together (with another 8 levels of Ninja) if all you want from Monk is the Unarmed Strike. Really, though, it depends on what you plan to do with it, and how you've built yourself up for the existing 10 levels of Ninja. P.S. - Why didn't you just buy the item that grants the Dark Creature template continuously (costs something like 22k)? Not worth the LA when such a cheap item emulates the whole shebang. EDIT: Another option would be 2 levels of Swordsage and then 7 levels of Shadow Sun Ninja, if you like the Tome of Battle system.
Xaktsaroth 02-04-07, 01:16 AM	Actually, a really nice PrC for shadowy types is the Umbral Disciple from MoI. You need 1 essentia and some sneaky skills to qualify. If your a human, then it would be very easy to switch to an Azurin, as Azurins are humans minus the bonus skill points(still get the bonus feat though!) and nab that point of essentia for free. Of course, shadow-fisting someone from 30 feet away is not everyones cup of tea.

Does that still give a level adjustment? I'm Chaotic Neutral, so I couldnt take Shadow Sun Ninja. I like the monk idea. I need to pick up Complete Scoundrel. I guess I can wait till a find a new game to make a Psionic character.
deldyrra 02-04-07, 02:02 AM	You could try doing a dip into thief-acrobat to help with those ninja skillz. I think it might have some one that aren't on the ninja list, too. Other than that, ninjas could often use help with their combat skills. Monk(combined with ascetic stalker), Nightsong Enforcer, or a few levels of Swordsage could all help with that. With swordsage, you can take that feat that lets you add your dex to damage with Shadow hand weapons.
deldyrra 02-04-07, 02:04 AM	I forgot to mention.. warlock always has interesting options. Your charisma doesnt really matter too much for most invocations.
