| Hawk181610-25-05, 07:30 PM | I am starting a gestalt campaign but i am away at college without my books. My DM has PH, DMG, the complete series, unearthed arcana and I believe Libres Mortis, but we are playing through email, he is across the country from me, so please reference the book and page number and a brief description to facilitate this. I have my heart set on a wizard/archmage built on one side and an assassin on the other side. I was thinking 5 levels of rogue then assassin. I want to max my int, thus making spells more powerful and also death attack more powerful. Basically my question is this, what would be a good lead into the assassin prestige class, and what other prestige classes would help on the wizard side. I don't want the character to be rediculous, I do not want this guy completely min/maxed, but I don't have access to books right now and am looking for general help. The playing style I am looking at is using wizard spells to make him invisible and duel wielding daggers to maximize sneak attack bonus's. The stats with the racial modifiers look like 10 16 12 20 10 8. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

| Hawk181610-25-05, 08:43 PM | I can't use Daggerspell mage because of the reason you mentioned, but I am pretty sure I want assassin right at level 6 so that the death attack is as powerful as possible early on. The other class I am considering is ninja for the first five levels. ideas on other classes and feats? |
