We all know that augument summoning is a good feat for a summoner. BUT the pre-requisite of spell focus (conjuration) sucks completely. Ive been trying to find a way to avoid it for ages & i only just realised, theres a feat which does exactly the same without the annoying pre-requisite.
Initiate of Malar (from PGF) has the same affect as augument summoning on animals or fiendish animals. I hope this is something new to people...

try greenbound summoning. Its from that new faerun book. the empire one.

it has no prereq for druids and it lets you put a templit on animales and fey. the templit has a LA+8 but you can take the feat at level one.

Half-orc druid racial sub level (RoD) gets free Augment Summoning, plus a few other goodies, IIRC. Conjurer variants in UA also get it. Ashbound [Eberron] combines nicely with all of these, autoextending your summon spells and granting luck bonuses on attack rolls.

But Greenbound Summoning breaks the game and is hands-down the most powerful feat any summoner can take.

I was aware of the greenbound summoning feat, its effects stack with augument summoning & the like. One problem with it is that animals with animal growth are better offensively & animal growth also effects you & your animal companion, making it overall, worse

It's the 6th level 1/2O Druid substitution level. So you're giving up one of your wildshape/day uses. It's pretty sweet actually. Well worth it most people seem to think, and it gives a reason to actually play a 1/2O Druid besides flavor.
