Specifically if you are hiding and sniping at someone with the feat do they get to use it? solbergb 09-29-06, 02:48 PM	It means you can see the attack coming. Normally this means you have to spot the shooter before he shoots. (you might have edge conditions with things like arcane sight, that could detect an arrow from a magical bow even if they can't see an invisible shooter, they'll see a blob of magic, and then another blob leaving the first blob heading for them) In a sniping situation, if the monk is unaware of the sniper, he gets no deflect arrows, even if he isn't flatfooted (he's already in combat perhaps). If that sniper "volley fires" though...takes a full attack...the monk can't deflect the first arrow, but he's then aware of the sniper (you can't hide while attacking at all, so barring stuff like greater invis, a blinded monk or fog between you and sniper, he'll see the sniper) and can deflect one of the later arrows.
