Bab 17, 4 8d6 touch attacks on a full attack, 16th level Mage casting + Tob goodness. [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-29-06, 09:48 AM Wis 3(taking Combat casting as feat), Warlock 1 (taking Eldrich glave as your invocation), Warblade 1.
Jade Pheonix mage 3
Abjurant champion 5 (chosing to add the benefit from Martal Arcanist at 5th level to Warlock levels)
Jade pheonix mage 7.

Only feats needed are 1, Combat casting to Qualify for Abjurant champion,
3: weapon focus in any reach weapon.
and a 6th, Short haft to increase utility of Eldrich glave.

At 20th level your getting an 8d6 eldrich blast wich grants iteratave attacks and Aoos, 8th level spells, bab 17, and a hoast of manuvers.

Any thoughts?

11-29-06, 10:21 AM Why not just do the standard mage gish like wizard 5 / Warblade 1 / JPM 9 / Abjurant Champion 5.

BaB 17
CL 17

Now take a Reserve feat, utilize your 9th level spell (probably via heighten spell) and deal 8d6 blasts out?
If you really need iterative attacks that are touch, cast Wraithstrike and go to town.

I'm sure that it would only affect the caster level of the Warlock, impacting only the amount of EB damage dice; the same way that Practiced Caster would improve caster level. I'd love for the what you said to be true!

11-29-06, 08:38 PM Actually, I don't know that this would provide you with an increased eldritch blast either. Eldritch blast caster level (which determines damage) is referred to separately from caster level when it is discussing the warlock and +1 spellcasting level classes in Complete Arcane.

11-29-06, 08:52 PM Rered abjurant champion, and its not going to work, Mrtal arcanist, last line 'You can apply this benefit only to an arcane class to which you have applyed spellcasting levels by yur advancent as an Abjurant Champion.' wich kind of unravels the build.
