| dog4509-22-05, 02:30 PM | Talking about CO the other day with my group, and someone brought up Sword and Fist. I seem to recall a cheesy build using the cleave tree and a bag of rats, but dont remember any specifics. I know this is reaching back, but does anyone remember this? |

| Tempest Stormwind09-22-05, 05:39 PM | However, thanks to Greater Consumptive Field (LM), we now have the Bag-O-Rats CLERIC... |
| Caelic09-22-05, 06:07 PM | Persistent Consumptive Field, Tempest, not Greater Consumptive Field. :) |
| NateNate09-22-05, 06:42 PM | The 3.5 Bag-of-Rats Fighter: Quick-Draw, Combat Reflexes, Great Cleave Quick-Draw a rat, drop it into your square as a free action. Its natural instinct is to run, so when it does you AoO it. You'll hit and kill it, then Cleave into the badguy. Repeat until you've used all your AoOs for the round, and you'll still get to full-attack. Not the one-attack-for-every-rat Whirlwind Attack trick, but you'll still get your (Dex mod +1) additional attacks each round. You could try using the War Hulk or War Mind, for Sweeping Strike with Whirlwind Attack. I think it still works with 3.5, since its one attack affecting two creatures rather than an additional attack for Cleaving. Just dump your bag of rats on the ground and make an attack for every rat. |

Also, it can't run during the middle of your turn unless it has a readied action, which means you don't get to cleave it until later.
