Barb/fighter feats [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-15-06, 02:02 AM I'm playing a Barbarian 3/Fighter 3 and I'm having trouble deciding what my feat is going to be for next level of fighter (I'm progressing as fighter for the rest of the campaign as I have found recently that I will rarely need to rage more then once a day). Right now I have Power Attack, Leap Attack, Imp. Bull Rush, and Reckless Rage.

My main damage comes off the charge and first attack with leap attack, but I am having trouble picking from Shock Trooper from CW to take my Power attack negative to my AC or Powerful Charge from MM3 (I think) to add 2D6 to the attack (I'm a Goliath with the 1st level substitution level so I'm large sized when I rage).

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Books available to me are MM3, Complete Series, PHB, FRCS, UE, and the Races of series.

03-15-06, 02:06 AM Shock Trooper before Powerful Charge (which I think is from Minatures Handbook). 2d6 is measly compared to the sick amounts of damage you can do with Power Attack.

03-15-06, 02:14 AM I normally drop my full BAB anyway, so the shock trooper really just boosts my chances of hitting. But I was leaning the same way if for different reasons.
