Ok I have a 8th lvl half-orc Barb. and I'm not sure what direction I should take him in and what to do with him. Right now he's a hulk but I dont know how to optimize him and I thought I'd ask those wiser than myself.

str: 28, dex: 16, con: 12, int: 8, wis: 10, cha: 6

Feats: Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave

Buy a potion of DM Intervention and switch those Dex and Con scores around, my god man!

What skills do you have? What books are allowed? We need more info.

Yeah, my group and I spent a ton of money on 3.0 stuff when it came out, just to find out that its broken, but I just cant bring myself to replacing all those books.

How did you get that much strength?

18 + 2 Racial + 2 Level + 6 Enhancement = 28

Your skills and feats are holding you out of the top-tier PrC's I think...

It will take about 4 more levels to get the entry requirements for you, but Menacing Brute from Races of Destiny might be a worthwile look (if you can get your hands on it =P). Throw in a feat that gives you Frightful Presence and you can scare away enemies for about 5 rounds with a look.

It's too bad the Frenzied Berserker requires so many feats, that are more or less useless (Intimidating Rage, Destructive Rage) but if you want a kick-ass PrC this is the one to go for.

I think you should take a look at Tribal Protector from Sword and Fist, it's a really nice PrC that gives you an extra attack for free. It's a 3.0 PrC but I dont think it has been converted yet so go ahead.

My Barbarian got Tireless to shake the fatigued state after the Rage or Frenzy which is good. But probably your best bet to increase the damage output is to get a hold of Leap Attack and Battle Jump. These can be made very nasty in combination with a charge.

There's this feat in Champions of Ruin that after you drop someone, you can rip off a trophy as a free action. That's a pre-req for the feat that if anyone sees you do that, you get a free Intimidate check on them. If they fail, they're afraid or shaken, can't remember which.

Snatch Trophy had no pre-reqs, and the second one has Snatch Trophy as the pre-req.

:evillaugh Excellent. I saw someone mention Frightful Pressance, I really like the idea, but how would one obtain frightful pressance? Is there a feat or class that I would need?

I can just see it now Frightful Pressance coupled with both Snatch Trophy feats :OMG! :gah: :surrender
