| Gravmyr01-24-04, 12:26 PM | I know probably been beat to death but you know this makes a sick character. I need a bit of help trying to see what I can do to make this a bit better. Halforc cg 18 str 11 Dex 20 con 11 int (4, 8) 16 wis 9 cha 1 barbarian Undying (Kingdom of kalamar) 1 barb/ 1 cleric (Strength, destruction) 1 barb/ 2 cleric Shock Resistant (KoK) 1 barb/ 3 cleric 1 barb/ 4 cleric 1 barb/ 5 cleric Extend Spell 1 barb/ 6 cleric 1 barb/ 7 cleric 1 barb/ 8 cleric Tough as Nails (KoK) 1 barb/ 9 cleric 1 barb/ 9 cleric/ 1 survivor I was planning on continuing with survivor and then a 3 level dip into holy liborator. I mainly buff myself with the spells and convert the rest into healing when needed. I went with the tough as nails line because with the rolls I had I knew I was going to get hit, a lot. If you don't have access to the KoK book the line is below. Undying: You may act normally when disabled. When dying, you have a 15% chance per round of spontaneously stabilizing. Others gain a +4 bonus on rolls to stabilize you. Shock resistant: Your character does not need to make fort save to resist death from massive damage. Tough as Nails: When a weapon strikes your body, it takes damage equal to half the damage it inflicts after it damages you. Maybe not a super inhuman character but you know not bad. |

You can't cast while raging which could give you some dilemas during combat and as a cleric with 11 dex your best option will be heavy armour, so movement isn't really crucial. I'd stick to full cleric, played as a barbarian type if thats you background, but without the actual level |
| Hanniball01-24-04, 04:26 PM | tjeck out Unapproachable East (UE) for the Runescarred Berserker. barbarian rage with clerical casting... |
| Gravmyr01-24-04, 10:45 PM | I was taking one just for the rage but coming back to it later. |
| horndgod01-25-04, 01:56 AM | I'd avoid Shock Resistant. At the point you take it you already have a +10 fort save and the save vs. massive damage is DC 15. Besides, at 3rd level you aren't likely to run into much massively damaging things. YMMV. At the end of your planned progression you have a +15 fort save, making the feat superfluous. |

| Gravmyr01-25-04, 09:39 AM | I would love to skip shock resistant and should have stated for those with out the book that undying is a prereq for shock and shock is a prereq for tough. |
| Ereanor01-25-04, 04:47 PM | In Dragon 310 their are feats of rage. The first one is rage casting. That may come in handy for your build. There is also raging spell penetration. |
| Dire Serpent01-25-04, 05:50 PM | Have you looked at the Berserker from DDG? It might be better than going back to Barbarian. You get "Battle Fury" (Improved Raging), Damage Reduction and other goodies. IMHO, Berserker is to Barbarian what Loremaster is to Wizard... |
