Barbarian feat choices [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-09-06, 09:48 AM I'm currently playing a 3rd level barbarian in a decent sized, party, forget what we have, but I think we got all the bases covered (Campaigns still new, just started). I'm playing the classic, Half-orc great-aze weilding barbarian, only twist being his personality, hes an hionestly good person (Exalted even, see below). I'm having some problems with future feat choices though. Here my stats and skills for PreReq purposes...

Stats, Str 20, Dex 14, Con 15, Int 11, Wis 13, Cha 12
Skills: Jump. Listen, Intimidate, Survival. All max ranks. I am literate and learned Sylvan.

Feats
1st: Nymph Kissed
3nd, Power Attack
6th, Leap Attack
9th+ ?????

Nymph Kissed is due to my back ground and its the only Exalted feat allowed for me or anyone (DM made an exception since it fits my backstory VERY well). I have no idea what to take from this point on. My AC is a bit low, any help, feat or otherwise, with that would be appreciated. I'm eyeing Greater Resilancy and Improved Crit, but havn't commited yet. Other then that, I'm lost. Try to keep it to the Core and Completes, though other books arn't out of the question. Thanks for the help.

If you can swing it, and it's allowed, Ice Troll Berserker from FR:Unapproachable East can help with your AC problems. Otherwise, like Phoenix, I have to suggest heading for Combat Brute or Shock Trooper, your choice. I personally prefer to sacrifice AC for damage, and go with Shock Trooper.
