The idea was originaly 1 level of barbarian and then just progressing as a scout, my DM had originaly that Scout could replace ranger as a catfolk's favorite class, but he has since changed that ruling. This has forced me to go scout 5, barbarian 4 so as to not face the multiclassing penalty. My feats are all along the spring attack, shot-on-the-run tree. The build is as follows: Scout 1 PBS Scout 2 Barbarian 1 Expedious Dodge Barbarian 2 Scout 3 Barbarian 3 Mobility Scout 4 Spring Attack Barbarian 4 Scout 5 Shot-on-the Run I have no idea where to go from here. I can use the whole Complete and Races of series, as well as the XPH, PHB, DMG and the Heroes of Battle. Some feat ideas are the Catfolk Pounce and Power Attack Any help would be great. Manadrew |

Feat-wise, most scout builds stray towards Greater Manyshot (XPH) which lets you apply skirmish damage to every arrow. Melee builds are viable too, though it's hard to do both effectively due to all the feats required. Catfolk Pounce is ok, but slightly at odds with spring attack (hit'n'run or just claw their face off). Sure it gives you more options, but depending on your build you may want to specialize more. You'll probably want to build towards the TWF tree regardless, and a few levels in tempest make a fine (if feat heavy) addition to either route. If you go spring attack, then you may also want to take a look at Elusive Target (CW) which works nicely with your high speed and (hopefully) high AC. |

I don't have any major feedback for you. 1) I don't see dodge in this build ... how did you qualify for mobility/spring attack. 2) I would highly recomend Elusive Target from CW as yout level 9 feat. Read it over and see if it fits your stile. |
