Barbarian-like prestige class [Archive] - Wizards Community

Wonder if there is a prestige class that offers about the same as the Barbarian core class gives (rage, fast movement perticular). Got a level 4 drow fighter going bladesinger, would be nice to make more use of the expiditious dodge feat (dodge requirement for bladesinger).

Ive heard about prestige-core-classes, but i assume they are in unearthed arcana which is a forbidden book for me (as well as miniatures handbook).

I know boots of springing and striding gives +10 movement. That is my first bet right now, but I rather find some other class to take at level 5 than another fighter level.

Right now I got these feats: Daylight Adoption, Combat Casting, Combat Expertise, Expiditious Dodge, Weapon Focus: Longsword, Highborn Drow.

03-21-06, 12:53 PM Sounds like A Sohei to me. Ki Frenzy gives you +10ft movement, +2 Str, +2 Dex, and Flurry with whatever weapon you wield. (Oriental Adventures, Base Classh)

Also, the prestige or variant coreclasses are from Dragon Magazine and Unearthed Arcana. If its because they are forbidden in your game thats to bad, if not check out:
