Barbarian: Half-orc, orc, or other? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-11-06, 07:05 PM I'm wondering, if I want to make a barbarian, which would be the best route? Half-orc barbarian/half-orc paragon 3/orc paragon 3, or or orc barbarian/orc paragon 3?

They both end up with the same strength, but the orc ends up with -2 to wisdom, and three extra barbarian levels.

11-11-06, 07:25 PM I would go with the full Orc.
Unless you want to take both the Half Orc, and the full Orc paragon levels. If so, go Half Orc.

11-11-06, 08:06 PM At the end of the day you're better off going half orc. If you're taking both the half orc and orc paragons you'll end up with the same str score as the orc with orc paragon levels but the orc will still have the -2 wis.
